Note:The link to each online class will change every week.
These instructions must be followed every Sunday in order to join the class.
There are two ways to log onto your Google Hangouts Meet live online class session: One for students, and one for teachers.
Method #1: (For Students)
Step #1: Go to http://webmail.jafariaschool.com.
Step #2: Login with your Jafaria School username and password, above.
Step #3: In your inbox, you will find two emails every week:
– One from your Tarbiya teacher
– One from your Quran teacher.
The subject heading of the email will start with:
“Invitation: Jafaria School – Tarbiya”
or
“Inviation: Jafaria School – Quran”.
Within the email, you will see a clickable “Join Hangouts Meet” link that looks something like this: meet.google.com/abcd-efgh-ijkl.
Step #4: When it is time for your class, the student will simply click on this link to join the class.
Method #2: (For Teachers)
Step #1: Go to http://calendar.google.com
Step #2: Login with your Jafaria School username and password, above.
Step #3: You will be taken to your student’s Google Calendar page.
Step #4: Navigate the calendar to the following Sunday. (In this case, it would be Sunday April 5th, 2020.)
Step #5: Your student will see two appointments on their calendar:
– One for their Tarbiya Class from 10:30am to 11:40am.
– One for their Quran Class from 11:50am to 01:00pm.
Step #6: When it is time for your class, the student will click on the calendar entry to view its details.
Step #7: The student will see a clickable “Google Hangouts Meet” link.
Step #8: The student should simply click on this link to join the class.
It is highly recommended that you or your child test out their login ASAP.
Do not wait until the last minute, otherwise your student may miss the class!
